Individual Support and Coaching for Professionals

David provides one-on-one coaching and support for professionals in various ways. Career coaching supports leaders to achieve results that are important to their personal success or the success of their organization. In coaching, there is an assumption that the client has existing expertise and skills in their own career. David's role of coach is to assist clients in fortifying their expertise through inquiry, self-reflection, and gentle challenges. To do this, David introduces behavioral practices and developmental exercises with attention to the client’s physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual wellness distinct from advising, therapy, or counseling; however, coaching may help address personal issues or life conditions that impact effectiveness.
David additionally provides support to clients regarding resume/cover letter critiques or strategies in applying for jobs. David is able to provide guidance at all stages of the job application process from submission, to interviews (phone/skype/in-person), as well as the sometimes uncomfortable and awkward negotiation of salary/benefits if or when you are offered a position. David's experience with search processes (as an applicant and hiring manager) in addition to working with search firms for senior-level administrative positions, can give clients knowledge and increased confidence during any job search process.
